Hydraulic lift is the Lifting Mechanism which is commonly used in modern Buildings, Homes, Hospitals and Industries. These Lifts works on the principle of an electrically powered pump that pushes pressurized hydraulic fluid (Oil), to a jack lifting system. A piston within a cylinder at the base of the elevator pushes the car of an elevator system up and down.
Hydraulic Lifts are usually smooth, comfortable, noiseless and one time investment as compared to traction lifts. This Lift also occupy less space as lift shaft requires about 10 per cent less area than any other type of lift mechanism and low energy consumption as well.

Roped Hydraulic Elevator
In Roped Hydraulic Elevator, both ropes and a piston are using to increase the motion of the elevator. The maximum distance can be travel in this type of hydraulic mechanism is about 50 feet.
Conventional Hydraulic Elevator
These Types of Lifts generally designed with a sheave that extends beneath the floor of the pit. The pit of a Conventional Hydraulic Lift supports a retracting piston. The approximate distance it can travel is 60 feet.
Hole-Less Hydraulic Elevator
It doesn’t require a hole or sheave fixed below the pit. It has telescoping pistons at the base of the pit. There is also a design that has non-telescoping pistons, which can only allow up to 20 feet of travel
